My god... on my newsfeed there's a photo of a similar triangle question that a random guy took asking for help, and this guy commented saying <x=<y, <a=<b (corresponding angles) and I was like WHAT THE HELL THE LINES AREN'T PARALLEL, AND CAN'T YOU SEE THAT <C = <D BECAUSE THEY'RE THE SAME ANGLE? It was like the easiest question ever with all but one of the side lengths shown on the triangle (so you're meant to use the two pairs of sides in the same ratio + angle included equal proof). Then you had to find x, a line, so obviously you're meant to use the -corresponding sides in similar triangles are in the same ratio- because it's a similar triangle question and people comment saying stupid things like cosine rule, right triangle.
Yeah guys I don't always post... but when I do, it's about maths.
